We’re KEEPING THE FRIDAY 9:00 am CLASS! Thank you to all of you who asked us to CONTINUE the EARLY, Friday 9:00 am class!

Beginning Friday, Feb. 10, the Friday class at 9:00 will now be an ongoing, regularly priced class. $17 drop-in or you can use your discounted series.

FIVE DOLLAR FRIDAYS:
The “$5 FRIDAY” class will be offered ONLY on “FiRST FRiDAYS! which is, of course, on the First Friday of every MONTH!  Upcoming FiRST FRiDAYS! is Friday, March 2.

NEED A SCHOLARSHIP?
Please JUST ASK!!  Moo Moo has always offered scholarships so that every child feels welcome to come boogie and let their hearts sing with us!

“FiRST FRiDAYS!” on February 3 was a success with a portion of net proceeds going to TREE PEOPLE, creating a sustainable Los Angeles.   www.treepeople.org  Coincidently, TREE PEOPLE just recently donated some 20 fruit trees and cherry blossom trees to local schools;  Beethoven, Broadway and Mark Twain.

MONDAY, Feb. 20, Presidents Day
Yes, THERE WILL BE CLASS on Monday, Feb. 20 at 9:30 am! The elementary schools will be closed, so bring the older siblings…for no extra charge! Siblings are always free.

Thanks to all who came to our December Friday classes!  We raised money for DSS, an organization which provides fresh toiletry kits for our local homeless.  Moo Moo staff and friends will help hand them out on Saturday, Feb. 4.  Let us know if you’d like to join us!

Items such as a 2 night stay in a Bed & Breakfast in Big Bear, Massages, Dora/Elmo/Thomas items as well. Definitely more info about this event later on.

(and/or loose change, dollars!)
Come watch Elmo dance when your child drops the change in the big jar!! Our jar is about 1/3rd full.
We’ll continue collecting pennies through our Special Holiday Class on December 30.  We’ll put them all together and give the $$ to DO SOMETHING SATURDAY.  It’s a local non-profit run by a former homeless man who takes in donations and creates Toiletry/Hygiene Kits for the homeless in Venice.  Every dollar raised goes to the homeless!  (some outreaches go directly to the homeless with HIV or AIDS)

Friday, 12/9:  SMASH HOLIDAY BOUTIQUE and ART AFFAIRE (Santa Monica Alternative School House) 11:30 am – 5:30pm
5th and Ocean Park in Santa Monica
Homemade Chili, Yummy Hot Chocolate, and Apple Cider, Live Music, Handmade items to buy such as Cozy Scarves, Jewelry, and of course, lots of Art.  Always sweet and lovely.

Saturday AM, 12/10:  Dramabee’s “Where The WiLD THiNGS Are” Show! Sat., Dec. 10, 10:00 am. ALL AGES WELCOME!! Tickets $5, cash at the door.   Electric Lodge. www.madamechocolate.com  There’ll be a fabulous magical musica pre-show with Moo Moo Friends DidiPop and Birdie of Birdie’s Playhouse.  Dramabee are fun acting workshops for Kids facilitated by very funny, talented Catherine (aka Madame Chocolate) and assisted by our very own Tiffany (from Moo Moo).  Click here to watch the Production Trailer Tiffany created for the WiLD THiNGS… it’s toooo cute!!!

In case it rains… or you’re just looking for something to do with the kids on Friday morning November 11th -Veterans Day:

Moo Moo Musica and Venice Del Play Camp are co-hosting 2 very special healers from Mt. Shasta with Crystal Singing Bowls. Unbelievably beautiful, divine sounds!  I love these healers, Michael and Nina.  I feel fortunate to have been around many “healers” from Brazil, Australia,  Easter Island, Europe and North and South America, etc and these two are the real deal.  The bowls are simply transformative for both children and adults.

MOO MOO MUSICA will have our usual 2 Friday classes for babies – 5 year olds:
9 -9:45 am ONLY  =  “$5 FRIDAYS!” $5 per family whether you have 1, 2 or more kids.
10-11 am = More Moo Moo Magic! (You can use your series or drop-in rate of $17 per family)
BOTH CLASSES WILL EXPERIENCE THE CRYSTAL SINGING BOWLS!

AND…
VENICE DEL PLAY BEACH CAMP is running their Veterans Day camp for 4-10 year olds at the Electric Lodge because of the “50% chance of rain”.  So Carmen, my good friend and Venice Mom, is allowing Moo Moo older siblings (mature 4 year olds and up) to come join the Venice Del Play campers to experience the Crystal Healing Bowl show during Moo Moo class times.  Cost is $5.

Carmen and I are trying this out as an experiment at the Electric Lodge and may do this throughout the winter months as well.  Stay tuned!
